Responsibilities:
Working with the rest of the client team, help define scope and recommended approach for major digital projects for clients.
Play an advisory role on client engagements, serving as a digital strategy advisor to both account leads (internal) and clients (external).
Serve as thought leader in aligning digital marketing strategy with a client’s business goals and objectives.
Drive high level discussions on the role of digital within the total marketing ecosystem.
Working with the leaders of the client team, help convince clients of the value of digital marketing services to their business - help them define needs and potential solutions.
Help guide clients in defining their digital vision.
Where necessary, help structure and present recommendations to senior client leadership for approval
Codify and publish formal frameworks and methodologies for approaching digital assignments within the firm.
Serve as a resource for creative teams in the development of insight driven digital strategies from opportunity identification through to experience definition.
As appropriate, play an active role in new client acquisition and new business presentations.
Lead digital "evangelization" initiatives within the firm.
Provide methodological support, coaching, professional development and training to staff.
Participate in evaluating the digital IQ of potential associates.
Transfers knowledge to client, project and discipline to team members and peers.
Recognizes project issues and elevates them to the appropriate project team members with suggested, well-thought out solutions. Client Relationship Management
Rapidly establishes credibility at all levels within the client.
Prepares and conducts formal presentations.
Consistently looks for ways that the client can improve their current processes. Planning and Consulting
Provides research and analysis for digital/web-based/social media/ mobiles campaigns and initiatives that integrate with client advertising, direct marketing and industry best practices for maximum marketing results.
Understand industry/market intelligence and knowledge of best practices.
Develop strategy in the preparation and facilitation of client planning sessions and strategy workshops.
Development of primary strategy artifacts, including: − Strategy Reports − Implementation Plans − Communication Plans − Audience Profiles − User Scenarios − Feature Roadmaps − Operational Measurement Plans
Educate account team and their clients on how to maximize their digital opportunities. Market Research
Provides research and analysis for client web-based campaigns, advertising, direct marketing, and industry best practices for marketing results.
Produces research analysis reports including business profiles, competitive profiles, score cards and situational analysis summaries.
Coordinates research efforts with other internal and external research departments and/or providers. Metrics and Analytics
Determine best measures of success and performance for initiatives
Present and sell in specific findings to clients to create learning and roadmap for future programs

Qualifications
Experience in digital marketing or strategic marketing consulting.
Strong passion for and knowledge of technology and digital marketing.
Team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly.
Ability to thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment.
Strong familiarity with digital metrics.
In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and digital disciplines (including audience identification and analysis, targeting, experience design, digital production, and online analytics.)
